Named Quebec organizational goaltending coach in July 1994, relocated with franchise to Colorado prior to 1995-96 season, and remained in that position until Jan. 24, 1996. ... Named Colorado assistant coach on Jan. 24, 1996, and remained in that position through 2006-07 season.
Miscellaneous: Won his first NHL start, making 25 saves in Buffalo's 8-2 win vs. Hartford on Dec. 20, 1981. ... Missed remainder of 1981-82 season with broken collarbone, suffered when he was hit by a slap shot during an informal shoot-around following Buffalo's Feb. 3, 1982, practice. ... Became first Buffalo goalie to record a shot on goal when he achieved feat during 1984-85 season. ... Shut out Boston in his first NHL playoff game on April 5, 1989. ... Missed parts of 1989-90 season with pulled groin, suffered during Chicago's Dec. 11, 1989, practice, and with strained left knee, suffered during Chicago's March 25, 1990, game vs. Detroit. ...
