HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: New Jersey traded Billington, Troy Mallette and 1993 fourth-round pick (Cosmo Dupaul) to Ottawa for Peter Sidorkiewicz and future considerations on June 20, 1993. The deal was completed six days later when New Jersey sent Mike Peluso to Ottawa on June 26, 1993.
