for Whitby (OPJHL) as an overage junior in 1984-85 before moving to
Netherlands to continue his playing career. ... Played for Team Netherlands
in 2000 Olympic qualifying tournament. ... Ran hockey school in Geleen,
Netherlands, from 1996 to 2000. ... Served as assistant coach of Canadian
Hockey Program of Excellence's Quebec Under-17 team from 2001 to 2004. ...
Became hockey instructor at Huron Hockey School during off-seasons after
retirement and later founded the Alain Raymond hockey school in Casselman,
Ontario.
