Scored goal in his first NHL game. The goal, at 10:21 of the first period, beat Montreal goalie Richard Sevigny. It was Washington's first goal in an eventual 6-3 loss. ... Traded by N.Y. Rangers with Gord Walker to Los Angeles in exchange for Joe Paterson on Jan. 21, 1988, but never played for parent team.
