Personal: Full name is Carey John Wilson. ... Son of former NHL player Gerry Wilson, team doctor and member of board of directors for Winnipeg (WHA) from 1972 to 1978. Dr. Wilson played key role in Jets' recruiting of players from Scandinavia before it was common practice. He also served as team's vice president in 1976-77 and 1977-78. ... Twin brother of former major-junior player Geoff Wilson.

TRADE: Chicago traded Wilson to Calgary in exchange for Denis Cyr on November 8, 1982.
