Missed part of 1982-83 game with sprained ankle, suffered during Calgary's March 1, 1983, game vs. Vancouver. ... Missed remainder of 1983-84 season with torn ligaments in both knees, a career-ending injury suffered when he crashed into the goal post during Calgary's Dec. 16, 1983, game at Vancouver. The injury, which required two surgeries in December 1983, left him in a wheelchair for several weeks.
