HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: N.Y. Islanders traded Lorimer and Dave Cameron to Colorado in exchange for Colorado's 1983 first-round pick (Pat LaFontaine) on October 1, 1981. At the time of the deal, the draft pick was officially listed as "future considerations."
