TRADE: Montreal traded the rights to Andruff and Sean Shanahan to Colorado in exchange for an option to switch 1980 first-round picks on September 13, 1976. Montreal later exercised its option and selected Doug Wickenheiser No. 1 overall in 1980, while Colorado received the No. 19 overall pick in 1980 and selected Paul Gagne.
