| HOW HE GOT AWAY |
| TRADE: Buffalo traded McNab's rights to Boston
in exchange for rights to Andre Savard on June 11, 1976. Both players were
unsigned restricted free agents and both signed with their new teams
following the trade. It was the first time such a trade of unsigned players
had ever happened, and both players had to sign with their new teams in order
for the compensation associated with either signing to be waived. |
