PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

It was a slow Thursday for 2018 NHL draft prospects, as only six total games were played. The good news is that one player qualified for the top-performances list. Action revs up again on Friday night, as multiple games will take place in North America. All three major-junior leagues are in action, as well as the USHL and several Tier II leagues. This list will be crowded again soon, particularly once the World Under-18's start in under a week from now.

Star of the Night

WYATTE WYLIE -- Wylie was the clear hero as the No. 1 star of Everett's 3-2 win at Portland in Game 4 of the team's second-round WHL playoff series. The defenseman, a local boy from Everett, scored his first career playoff goal and added an assist in the Silvertips' big win. He had the primary assist on the opening goal -- one-timing a shot from the point that was deflected home with 1:01 left in the first period. Late in the third, he delivered the game-winner, snapping a 2-2 tie at 18:48 to give Everett a 3-1 series lead. (Note: Third appearance on this list in 2017-18)
