PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

Well, the Hockey Draft Central home office had a major power-outage in early March. The power came back after a few days, but it took weeks to catch up to the work of daily prospect updates. So, in the spirit of moving along, check out abbreviated versions of each lost day's events.

Unfortunately, there is no decent video available from either performance by the two goaltenders listed below.

Stars of the Night

LUKAS DOSTAL -- Brno's junior goaltender maintained his outstanding level of play in the Czech U20 playoffs with 38 saves in a 4-0 shutout victory at Liberec. Dostal stopped an eye-popping 21 shots in the first period, eight in the second and nine in the third. His second playoff shutout lifted his perfect postseason record to 6-0. He has not allowed more than two goals in any of those games. (Note: 19th appearance on this list in 2017-18 -- leads all goaltenders)

BLAKE PIETILA -- The Michigan Tech recruit stopped 23 shots to pace Cedar Rapids to a 4-1 USHL victory over Madison. Pietila stopped all five shots in the first period, six of seven in the second, and all 12 in the third. Pietila snapped a three-game winless streak dating back to March 10. (Note: Seventh appearance on this list in 2017-18)
