So, in the spirit of moving along, check out abbreviated versions of each lost day's events:

Stars of the Night

DOMINIK ARNOST -- Arnost scored four points -- two goals and two assists -- to power Prague Sparta past Hradec Kralove 6-1 and clinch the team's Czech Under-18 Round 1 playoff series. His first goal, at 11:39 of the opening period, pulled Sparta into a 1-1 tie, while his second stood up as the game-winner for a 2-1 lead eight minutes later. He added primary assists on power-play goals at 4:21of the second period and 3:57 of the third. Through five playoff games, the 5-foot-9 right wing had three goals and four assists. (Note: Fourth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

Damiani, the No. 2 star, had the primary assist on the eventual game-winner for a 3-0 lead at 13:11 of the first period. He scored an unassisted goal with 1:41 left in the first and later picked up the lone assist on a goal to close the scoring at 9:46 of the third. It was his first three-point game since Jan. 17. (Note: Fifth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

COLE FONSTAD -- Fonstad scored two second-period goals in Prince Albert's 5-3 win at Moose Jaw to open the Western Hockey League playoffs. The game's No. 1 star connected at 7:19 for a 3-1 lead and later scored the game-winner, making it 4-1 at 16:36. It was a rejuvenating night for the normally high-scoring Fonstad, who had not scored a goal in his final five regular-season games. (Note: 10th appearance on this list in 2017-18)

MARTIN KAUT -- Nobody had a bigger day than Kaut, who erupted for two goals and two assists in Pardubice's 6-3 Czech Extraliga playoff win over Trinec. The Kaut-delivered victory forced a Game 7. Kaut's first goal opened the scoring at 12:52 of the first period. His first assist, at 5:46 of the second, helped stretch the lead to 3-1. His second assist was the lone helper on the game-winner at 10:53 of the second, and he closed out the scoring with his second goal at 19:40 of the third. Kaut did all this playing against men in the Czech Republic's top league. (Note: Fifth appearance on this list in 2017-18)
