PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

Well, the Hockey Draft Central home office had a major power-outage in early March. The power came back after a few days, but it took weeks to catch up to the work of daily prospect updates.

So, in the spirit of moving along, check out abbreviated versions of each lost day's events:

Stars of the Night

LUKAS DOSTAL -- Dostal, one of two oustanding Czech goalies in the 2018 draft pool, made 45 saves as Brno shut out Prague Sparta 2-0 in the teams' Czech U20 playoff opener. Dostal stopped 14 shots in both the first and second periods and then came up with 17 more in the third. It was his first U20 shutout of 2017-18 after spending most of his season facing men in the Czech WSM Liga. (Note: 17th appearance on this list in 2017-18 -- leads all goaltenders)

JAN JENIK -- Jenik paced Liberec to a 5-1 win in its Czech U20 playoff opener at Kladno with two goals and two assists. He opened the scoring at 3:20 of the first period and helped make it 2-0 with the primary assist on the eventual winner at 14:17 of the second. He scored again 58 seconds into the third to make it 3-0 and had another primary helper on a goal with 2:14 remaining for a 4-1 lead. It was his second consecutive two-goal game. (Note: Second appearance on this list in 2017-18)
