PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

Well, the Hockey Draft Central home office had a major power-outage in early March. The power came back after a few days, but it took weeks to catch up to the work of daily prospect updates.

So, in the spirit of moving along, check out abbreviated versions of each lost day's events:

Stars of the Night

JUSTUS ANNUNEN -- Goaltender Annunen continued to raise his draft stock in the Finnish Under-20 playoffs, making 29 saves in a 4-1 win at Lahti that clinched the best-of-5 series in Game 4. He stopped all seven first-period shots, 11 of 12 in the second, and 10 of 10 in the third. In the four games, he stopped 93 of 98 Lahti shots for a .949 save percentage -- never allowing more than two goals in a game. (Note: 10th appearance on this list in 2017-18)

BRETT KEMP -- The Edmonton forward had a goal and two assists in the Oil Kings' 7-3 win at Calgary to close the WHL regular season. Kemp got the primary assist on a power-play goal at 5:47 of the first period to tie the game 1-1. He then got his own power-play tally -- the eventual game-winner -- for a 4-1 lead at 13:04 of the first and set up another goal at 16:34 of the second, giving him points in three of his last four games. (Note: Second appearance on this list in 2017-18)

BEN KRAWS -- Miami University recruit Kraws made 30 saves to help visiting Sioux City edge Omaha 4-3 in an OT shootout. Kraws stopped seven of eight in the first period, four of five in the second, 15 of 16 in the third, all four in overtime, and all five in the shootout for his first win since Feb. 23. (Note: Second appearance on this list in 2017-18)

RYAN McLEOD -- McLeod closed out the OHL regular season in style, scoring two goals and assisting on a third in Mississauga's 3-1 win over Kingston. His goal at 7:43 of the first period opened the scoring, and his assist at 17:40 of the first helped set up the game-winner. He closed the scoring with a power-play goal at 15:09 of the second. With seven points in his final four games, McLeod finished the regular season with 26 goals and 70 points in 68 games and ranked third on the Steelheads in scoring. (Note: 13th appearance on this list in 2017-18)

TODD SCOTT -- Scott closed out his rollercoaster season on a high note, as the Edmonton goaltender made 34 saves in a 7-3 win at Calgary. After denying 10 of 12 Hitmen shots in the first period, he stopped all 11 in the second and 13 of 14 in the third. It was only his second start since Feb. 19. (Note: Eighth appearance on this list in 2017-18)
