PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

Well, the Hockey Draft Central home office had a major power-outage in early March. The power came back after a few days, but it took weeks to catch up to the work of daily prospect updates.

So, in the spirit of moving along, check out abbreviated versions of each lost day's events:

Stars of the Night

ADAM BOQVIST -- The defenseman had a goal and two assists for Gavle in a 4-2 Swedish U20 playoff win over Sodertalje. He later had a primary assist on the 2-0 goal at 3:41 of the first and another primary helper on a power-play goal to make it 3-1 at 15:29 of the second. With back-to-back multi-point games, Boqvist has a three-game scoring streak. (Note: Fifth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

BEN COPELAND -- As No. 1 star of Waterloo's 6-1 USHL rout of the U.S. NTDP Under-17 team, Copeland finished with a goal, two assists, and seven shots. The Colorado College recruit had the lone assist on the opening goal 23 seconds into the game and followed with another lone assist at 8:03 of the second period to make it 3-0. His first two goals came on power plays at 8:25 and 16:34 of the second period as Frolunda built up a 4-2 lead. His third-period empty-netter completed the hat trick -- his second of the season. GABRIEL FORTIER -- Fortier continued his late-season surge for Baie-Comeau with two goals on four shots in a 5-2 loss to Victoriaville.
