PROSPECT-UPDATE ARCHIVE

Well, the Hockey Draft Central home office had a major power-outage in early March. The power came back after a few days, but it took weeks to catch up to the work of daily prospect updates.

So, in the spirit of moving along, check out abbreviated versions of each lost day's events:

Stars of the Night

ZACHARY BOUTHILLIER -- The Chicoutimi goaltender made 28 saves to earn No. 2 star honors in the Sagueneens' 4-2 win over Halifax. He stopped 15 of 16 Mooseheads' shots in the opening period alone to get back to winning after having suffered back-to-back QMJHL losses. (Note: Eighth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

AIDAN BROWN -- Brown scored two goals in Barrie's 8-3 win over Kingston and was named the No. 3 star. Both goals came in the third period, as he capped off back-to-back two-point games. The goals were his sixth and seventh of the OHL season. (Note: Third appearance on this list in 2017-18)

BEN COPELAND -- The Colorado College recruit had three assists and took No. 2 star honors in Waterloo's 4-3 USHL win at Sioux City. All three of the assists were primary helpers, including one on a power play. Copeland extended his point streak to six games, scoring three goals and 11 points on the span. (Note: Second appearance on this list in 2017-18)

CEDRIC DESRUISSEAUX -- Desruisseaux scored twice and was the No. 1 star of Drummondville's 4-3 OT shootout win over Blainville-Boisbriand. He extended his QMJHL scoring streak to three games. (Note: Third appearance on this list in 2017-18)

NOAH DOBSON -- Bathurst's star defenseman, an almost certain first-round pick, had a goal and two assists in a 5-3 win at Moncton to claim No. 1 star honors. That gave him five points in back-to-back QMJHL games and lifted him over a point-per-game average with 62 in 61. (Note: Eighth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

ZACHARY EMOND -- Rouyn-Noranda's backup netminder continued to shine with 33 saves in a 5-2 win over Cape Breton. The game's No. 2 star stopped all 15 Screaming Eagles shots in the third period for his first QMJHL win since Feb. 17, after back-to-back overtime losses. (Note: Fifth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

OLIVIER RODRIGUE -- Rodrigue, who might be the first goalie drafted out of the QMJHL in June, made 38 saves to help Drummondville edge Blainville 4-3 in an overtime shootout. He stopped 15 of 16 shots in the second period, 13 of 15 in the third, four of four in OT, and all three in the shootout for his third straight win. (Note: 12th appearance on this list in 2017-18)

ANDREI SVECHNIKOV -- The top draft prospect in North America continued his OHL rampage with two goals, an assist, and six shots in Barrie's 8-3 win over Kingston. Svechnikov, the No. 2 star, extended his point streak to 17 games as he stretched his OHL rookie lead in goals and points. (Note: 19th appearance on this list in 2017-18 -- tied for overall lead)

OLIVER WAHLSTROM -- Wahlstrom scored two goals on eight shots and was the No. 1 star of the U.S. NTDP Under-18 team's 4-1 USHL win at Green Bay. The Harvard recruit extended his USHL point streak to five games with his seventh multi-goal performance of the season, helping the Under-18's to a 10th straight USHL win. (Note: Ninth appearance on this list in 2017-18)

DMITRI ZAVGORODNY -- Rimouski's undersized Russian import scored twice in the Oceanic's 6-4 win at Gatineau. His two goals were the first of five unanswered Rimouski tallies. This was Zavgorodny's fourth straight QMJHL multi-point game. (Note: Sixth appearance on this list in 2017-18)
