Missed end of 1973-74 season with rib injury, suffered during N.Y. Islanders' March 30, 1974, game at Vancouver.

Selected by Ottawa Nationals in 1972 WHA Draft -- the first-ever WHA Draft -- in February 1972. Scored series-winning goal in OT for Cincinnati in 1973 AHL playoff sweep of Richmond. Played on line with Billy Harris and Bill MacMillan for N.Y. Islanders in 1973-74. Was used in a shut-down role against Phil Esposito while playing for Minnesota.
