prior to 1992-93 season and remained in that position through 1992-93

after his freshman year to play major junior hockey. ... Played for New
Westminster (WHL) as an overage junior in 1986-87. ... Served as Tri-City
interim head coach for part of 1988-89 season. ... Became player agent after
his coaching and management career, earning his NHLPA certification in 1998
and working as partner of Rich Winter and Steve Kotlowitz at the Sports
Corporation in Edmonton. Johannson handled negotiations for a list of
clients that included Johnathan Aitken, Jamie Lundmark, Scottie Upshall,
Brent Seabrook and Paul Brown.
