HOW HE GOT AWAY
DRAFT RE-ENTRY: Detroit never signed Nordmark, who remained in Sweden. His draft rights lapsed after the 1983-84 season, and he became eligible to re-enter the draft. He was selected by St. Louis in the third round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft.
