As compensation for the signing, Philadelphia took the option of Toronto's 1992 fourth-round pick or 1993 third-round pick. The Flyers chose the 1993 third-round pick (Vaclav Prospal). ... Placed on waivers by Toronto on July 28, 1992. He cleared waivers, became an unrestricted free agent, and continued career in Europe. ... Represented by agent Gus Badali during his NHL playing days.
Bullard Arrested: Bullard was arrested on Jan. 31, 1985, when his car struck two people in Mount Lebanon, Pa. The people he hit were treated at a hospital for minor injuries. Bullard was later charged with drunken driving after police, sensing a smell of alcohol on his breath, gave him a blood-alcohol test. The case, closed after a hearing in late March 1985, cast a cloud over the rest of Bullard's 1984-85 season.
