Northlands High School head coach in early 1980s.
Officiating Career: Began officiating Minnesota high school games
during 1985-86 season. ... Became WCHA linesman in 1986 and held position
until he became a referee. ... Became a WCHA referee in late 1980s and
remained in that position into 2002-03 season.
Miscellaneous: Attended training camps for Los Angeles in 1977 and N.Y.
Rangers in 1978. ... Tried out for 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. ... Returned
to Thief River Falls, Minn., after retirement and became
accountant at Forsbergs, Inc. The company makes industrial gravity separators
for use in agriculture, recycling and food processing. |
