Missed end of 1976-77 season with torn knee ligaments. ... Was on Phoenix (CHL) team that folded on Dec. 13, 1977. ... Was playing in Cleveland organization when team folded after the 1977-78 season and merged with Minnesota. His rights were protected by Minnesota prior to the Minnesota-Cleveland Dispersal Draft on June 15, 1978. Minnesota then sold his rights to Edmonton (WHA) in September 1978.
