Management Career: Named Buffalo Director of Pro Scouting prior to 1998-99 season and remained in that position until July 12, 2006.
Miscellaneous: Roommate of Danny Gare during 1976-77 and 1977-78 seasons. ... Missed most of 1977-78 season with leg injury. ... Wore No. 23 at Quebec's 1979 training camp. ... Missed three weeks of 1983-84 season with food poisoning contracted in a New York deli in November 1983. Lost 15 pounds from the illness, which also hit teammates Gary Nylund and Greg Terrion. Martin suffered the most, ending up in a New York hospital's intensive care unit.
