HOW HE GOT AWAY
TRADE: Philadelphia traded Wright, Al MacAdam and 1974 first-round draft pick (Ron Chipperfield) to California in exchange for Reggie Leach on May 24, 1974. Wright returned to the Flyers when he signed as a free agent in September 1975. He left when his rights were absorbed by Buffalo during the 1976-77 season while he was in Europe.
