Career Highlights

Rejoined Calgary (WCHL) for 1971 playoffs on March 14, 1971, under a rule that allowed any team that had one of its players injured in the league All-Star Game could add any player from the bottom team in its division to its postseason roster. Calgary's Len Frig had broken his arm during the All-Star Game. ... Scored his only NHL goal in his third game for Los Angeles on March 18, 1972, vs. Pittsburgh, helping team to a 4-4 tie. ... Named Springfield Rookie of Year for 1971-72. ... Played on first Alberta Oilers team in WHA's inaugural 1972-73 season. ... Named to SHL All-Star Second Team with Winston-Salem in 1973-74.

Played on line with Wayne Rivers and Ed Hoekstra for Springfield (AHL) in 1971-72. Was honored with name of "Chief Running Rabbit" by the Native tribe in his hometown.
