Alberta Oilers in 1972 WHA General Player Draft, the first draft in
WHA history, February 1972.
Played defense for
Omaha (CHL) during 1972-73 season.
Won CHL Adams Cup with Omaha in 1973.
Selected by Phoenix (WHL) from N.Y. Rangers in Reverse draft of June
Missed start of 1973-74 season recovering from surgery for torn
cartilage in his knee.
Played on 1973-74 Phoenix team that won WHL regular-season title.
WHL Patrick Cup with Phoenix in 1974.
- Signed WHA contract with expansion Phoenix Roadrunners in 1974. The
team received his WHA rights from Edmonton because he had
been playing for the WHL Roadrunners team.
- Opened 1974-75 season a Tulsa (CHL) captain for 11 games before
being called up to Phoenix.
- Played on 1978-79 Phoenix team that won PHL regular-season title.
